Description
Sales representatives are responsible for communicating the benefits of a company's products in order to drive sales. Sales representatives serve as the point of contact between a business and its prospects or clients and have a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating prospective customers while supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to products and services.
Essential criteria:
- A background in Sales is highly regarded, however those with a background in agriculture and/or construction are encouraged to apply.
- Strong customer service & communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Intermediate computer skills, proficient in Microsoft applications – outlook/excel/word.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a can-do attitude are a must.
- Positive attitude, a self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic.
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Recommended products to customers based on individual needs and preferences.
- Provided customers with price and delivery date information.
- Expanded customer base through current client leads and business directory research.
- Build strong client network for agricultural and/or construction product sales through in-person and telephone communication.
- Fulfill customer product orders and respond to complaints and questions.
- Review accuracy of shipping orders and schedules.
- Ensure timely order filling and customer service in coordination with sales managers.
- Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
- Maintaining client records.
- Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
5 day working week, Monday – Friday. Some after hours or weekend work may apply at times

Monday to Friday, 8AM - 5PM
